Fall Is a Beautiful Season to Visit Avila Beach

The curtain may be coming down on summer soon, but that doesn’t mean it’s time to stop visiting the beach. Fall is a beautiful season at California beaches, and Avila Beach is no exception.

September through November is thought by many to be the best time to visit the Central Coast. Warm temperatures in the 70s and 80s, and less fog and more sunshine than in the summer months, along with fewer crowds and off-season deals make it a must for a Fall getaway. The harvest season is also an eventful time in the area, showcasing an eclectic array of seasonal, local cultural activities and points of interests, including winetasting and wildlife watching.

Take a peek at our list of must-see attractions and events to enjoy during your Fall vacation to the Central Coast.
